Camp Wooten Fundraiser: Mixed Bag Designs

Thousands of Jason Lee Students have participated in the Camp Wooten Outdoor Education program over the last 37 years. It’s a week they never forget!

Our current 5th Grade classes are already preparing for camp in the spring by fundraising. They will be selling items from Mixed Bag Designs. We want every 5th Grade Student to create their own memories of Camp Wooten! Thank you for supporting them in their efforts!

If you don’t know a 5th grader and are interested in purchasing any of these items, shop  online or contact one of the 5th grade teachers! They can put you in contact with a student.

Mixed Bag Designs is eco-fabulous! They offer bags, totes, lunch bags, cell phone covers, laptop/ipad cases, stationery products and more. 40% of what you order goes directly to our fundraiser! Make sure you follow these directions to give the credit to our Camp Wooten Fundraiser. Thanks for all your support!

Visit and click on “online store.” At checkout, when you review and submit your order, you will be asked for your fundraiser ID. Enter 63045 to give credit to our fundraiser.

This year Jason Lee PTA is able to accept online donations through the Jason Lee PTA square store, select or enter the desired donation amount to Wooten. At checkout enter the students name, grade, and teacher in the note to merchant.

Jog-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Students collect pledges per lap and/or one  time donations to raise money for our school. The money raised goes towards  classrooms, technology, assemblies, large projects like the out door pavilion, and more.

Jason Lee students will walk or run on Friday, October 5th.

All Jason Lee students participate in the run that day whether they collect pledges or not. STUDENTS who bring in at least $50 in pledges get to participate in our COUGAR COLOR RUN on October 19th wearing awesome JOG-A-THON T-shirts donated by Metal Fab.

Our top pledge collectors and lap runners will receive Amazing PRIZES donated by The Reach Museum, WINCO, Circle K, Mid-Columbia Gymnastics, Mid-Columbia Ballet, Fall-
out Crossfit, Atomic Bowl, Tumbleweeds, Walmart, Little Caesars, Jamba Juice, Applebees, GESA Carousel, Pacific Science Center, Sun West, and MORE.

This year Jason Lee PTA is accepting online donations through the Jason Lee PTA square store. Select or enter the desired donation amount. At checkout enter the students name, grade, and teacher in the note to merchant.

Pledge money is due October 11th, 2018. Volunteers are needed for both these events to run smoothly. If you can help run the music, take pictures, mark lap cards, set up, clean up, or cheer on students while they run, please fill out the RSD volunteer form by October 1st so you can help. Sign up to help out.

Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education has paid out over $19,000 for school supplies to Jason Lee Elementary in the past years. Clipping those Box Tops really makes a difference. Last year Jason Lee Families earned $980 for our school. That is amazing! Our Jason Lee families are great at turning in Box Tops.

  • Make sure to fill in your student’s full name, teacher, and grade on each box top form or envelope submitted.
  • Did you know box tops expire? Before you start, have your student check the expiration date on each box top. Pitch those expired ones.
  • Every student who turns in 25 non-expired box tops and writes their name, grade, and teacher legibly will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
  • Neighbors and relatives are great source for Box Tops!

There are new products added to the list all the time so keep your eye out when you are shopping! You can also sign up online for great coupons on Box Tops for Education products and help earn more from shopping at participating online stores.

Jason Lee Roller Skating Parties

Jason Lee PTA has partnered with the Richland Rollarena again this year! Families can spend quality time together while helping our school earn money.

$1 from every admission fee is donated back to Jason Lee! The entry fee is $5 for all skaters. This includes the rental of traditional skates. Rollerblade rental is $2 more.

This year PTA members can bring their purple Jason Lee PTA discount card to get one free skate night admission with traditional skates. Rollerblade rental is $2.

At each skate night there is a contest to see which class has the most students present. The class that wins receives free pizza and pop that night. Come and join the fun!

Our first skate night is:
September 26th
6:30-8:30 PM

The skating parties are held at the Richland Rollarena Skating Center, 849 Stevens Dr. Richland.
